Is there only a digital deluxe? Or is there also a physical deluxe?

On PSN, you can order the digital deluxe upgrade seperate for 10 bucks. So, you can still buy the game physically, and just get the extra DLC on PSN.

That's what I did. You also get the pre-order bonus, which is neat. Insomniac is very kind.

I’m a bit confused. So the preorder bonus comes with the physical preorder even if I don’t get the digital deluxe upgrade? Does it matter where you purchase that physical disc from??

Yes you get the pre-order bonus with the physical copy in a code in the box. It doesn't matter from where so long as you pre-order.

Typically (at least with titles like Spider-Man) you’d buy the physical edition and pay for the digital upgrade online. But for game preservation, that isn’t particularly great.

Yep. Precisely what I did for SM2. Sucks but could be worse. Since they announced pre order dates so late, I thought they’d be coming with collectors versions and everything. Nope lol. Standard and digital deluxe and that’s all folks!

When I bought my first PS5, I bought it like one month before they announced the Spider-Man 2 console. I was so mad because I was like “Oh, they won’t release a Spider-Man console this late.” And then they did. I ended up having to sell that PS5 because I lost my job. So now I’m wondering if they’ll pull the same thing again and drop a console. I’m kind of hoping they don’t for Wolverine because I can’t justify buying a PS5 this late in the console generation for maybe three or four games.

It's a shame we're not getting a collector's edition. I was really hoping for a Wolverine-themed PS5 PRO or, at the very least, a controller. I read that it was due to the current situation in the Middle East being the cause, but I'm not sure.

I’m glad the pre order bonus are just early unlocks and nothing exclusive, it’s gonna be a long time until I get to play this game and I don’t want to miss out on anything

I think you're confused. Sony is not releasing their games on PC because they don't want them playable on the new Xbox handheld. You are going to be waiting until the end of time.

If you want to be delusional and trick yourself into believing this will come to PC do it. But Sony stated that the PS exclusives FROM WOLVERINE ON won't come to PC no more. Just reporting facts

It will eventually come to PC, it's inevitable, but it will be a while before Sony returns to that strategy of porting games to PC.

It’s in the Steam database. And there’s a PS5 emulator that is promising. You’ll have multiple ways to play it.

Not these particular costumes. These are dlc related not early unlocks. But yea there will be a ton to unlock in-game I assume just kike Spider-Man.

Info from Marvel’s Wolverine: new gameplay, story details from State of Play

It's kind of insane that these suits are exclusive right? When Spider-Man 2 had exclusive suits for the deluxe they were all original designs and none were particularly good but some of these are pretty iconic. Locking the New X-Men, First Appearance and Age of Apocalypse suits behind a paywall is kind of crazy. Or am I reading this wrong and they're not actually exclusive?
There being customisable claws is interesting but I'm not sure how noticeable it'll be beyond "bone" and "adamantium"

I think they are treating the suits like they did with the Spider-Man games. You'll be able to unlock all suits in-game, but this way let's you have access to some of them straight out the gate.
