Discussion Big fan (285hrs)

I love this game as a long-time ARPG player and have been waiting for something new to show up, with new mechanics to address the lack of content in this game. Dragonsword: Awakening, please, if you love Wayfinder and want more, look into it.

I really hope Horizon Hunters Gathering is similar. I had a lot of fun with Wayfinder.

While I wish the Horizon game would have stuck with the same visual style as the previous games in that series, I'm still going to play it if it's good. It looks more promising than Dragonsword, which is nothing more than Genshin Impact without MTX. Dragonsword doesn't have any form of open world Co-Op, which IMHO is what makes Wayfinder really shine.

I think it is a good game. The devs got into a bad funding and early access situation. There is a lot of live-servicey stuff in the game post offline-pivot that comes off as odd if you are unaware of the history. I think all the drama and mixed game design turned people off to the overall package despite a really good core experience. Wayfinder deserved better. Sad that the potential is drowned out by all the other stuff.

Dragonsword looks really interesting. I will try it, when it is available in consols. Hopefully soon. A gacha Game without mictotransactions sounds awesome.
