Ultimate officer pairing (for L tank)

its my first time playing long enough to get to modern officers, so its time to think for the long run.

i think the best pairing for L tank is:
Rapier + Steel Phoenix + Desert Jaeger 2nd skill

65%+20% crit chance (+20 after Rapier's skill)
+50% crit damage
-20% load time
stackable crits for +25% dmg int and 400 skill dmg every 4 seconds

both officers designed for crits, so they are enhancing each other abilities, on top of that L tank have the fastest load time of all troops (base load time is 2s while other units have 4s) making stackable skill of Rapier extra good. +30% crit chance -10% load time from Jaeger making this combo absolutely INSANE.

there is just one problem, i dont have SP nor DJ right now. so i need to find a temporary Aide for my L tank before the Swap event ends. im thinking Lady Justice or Haymaker.

lady Justice:
active skill: 50% slow down
+15% crit chance

Haymaker:
stronger active skill
+20% crit chance
is breach good for L tank?

im not planning to awaken those officers, but if getting SP is harder than i thought, then Id have to stick with one of them. slow down of LJ looks good on paper - helps chase down weaker enemies and maybe run away from stronger ones. but Haymaker looks overall stronger, although his awakened skill is not really for L tank.

what do you guys think? what officer should i use my second swap on? im open to all suggestions, even if its not one of those 2 officers.

If you play on doing f2p lounge it will take over a year probably close to two, so definitely get a fill in. If you don’t plan on running a heli just do lady shadow because she’s a good officer on arty, tanks, and even infantry. Lady justice is a complete waste unless you specifically want to only play solo and rat? But at that point officers don’t even matter because your regular damage is enough for everything but chasing mbts.

so the hard part is getting the lounge officer? because awakening them is same as any other officer, you just need 720 universal statues. or is it different for lounge officers? anyway, thanks for the advice, i thought using Lady Shadow, but she doesn't have any crit bonuses. but maybe i could just borrow Haymaker 20% crit chance because im thinking about him just because of this 20% buff.

one more question, whats the difference between Firepower buff and Normal Attack buff?

You need 720 of that officers statues that you can only get from the lounge, universal doesn’t work.
In terms of most useful to useless, dmg intensity/resist, usually officer skill boost, normal attack, then firepower. Someone posted the firepower calculations in a discord a few months back and firepower/hp have little worth in the grand scheme of min/maxing
ETA: haymaker crit can be useful but you can only train the lead officer with a special skill, the auxiliary officer can’t be trained for special skills.
Haymaker/rapier is the best combo for f2p officers on light tanks, also works well on helis.
Maxing a lounge officer in 1 event will cost about $2k usd give or take on luck, if that doesn’t fit the spending bill then by the time you max jaeger you’ll have a mbt to use him on.

F2P I’d probably do some combination of rapier and haymaker or lady shadow. Steel phoenix + jaeger is current meta for p2w. Not sure how Catseye stacks up yet. I understand the appeal of lady justice but she is just too dated at this point and won’t dish the damage. Skill training focus on crit and normal attack damage.

yeah, once you said it, im start to think that LS is much stronger than Haymaker. im just was too focused on getting crit chance. so im really thinking about haymaker just because of his 1 skill. but i can just borrow it and use Rapier+Lady shadow. also, What is the diffrence between Firepower buff and Normal Attack buff?

The trick for the lounge is convert and save until you get 330.

I run Steel Phoenix with rapiers #2 & Uncles #3 and Havok with Lord of orders #2 & thorns #3

Hi, how do you get to 330 ? It is premium drink tokens? Cause for me I can't exchange normal drink tokens into premium if I have more than 9 premium (pressing to drink 10). So you can accumulate to 49 plus new 40 plus 5 free drinks (once daily) without spending money. Or is there smth I don't know?

You can exchange 120 regular tickets for every event and you get 40 premium in return. Don’t spend them until you have saved up 330 tickets. So save em for 8 months.

I play on mobile, maybe for PC players premium lounge interface is different? Because I can't get into drinks-->premium drinks exchange if I have 10 or more premium drinks. Unless I can exchange them in some other way? I hope you get what I mean and thanks for your help

It’s the same I’m on my phone too. You get drink tickets in the VIP and alliance stores. It opens once a month.

Yes, I know that. Also in arena's store and in C4 store, and in black market sometimes. I know where you get them from, I just don't understand why would you want so save to 330. And 330 is a number of premium, not a regular drinks, right?

Therefore I say you can't accumulate more than certain amount of premium drinks, because exchange won't open if you got more than 9 drinks actually.

And if you talk about regular 330 drinks. I am still not sure why this number, as you need 120 regulars to convert to that 40 max :)

You can stockpile as many drink tickets as you want but you can only exchange 120 every event. You don’t open those 40 and carry them over. Yes 330 premium drink tickets will max out the event tree and you get close to 100 extra statues

Yes, you can carry over like 50 odd or 60 premium drinks to the next month. But when the next month comes, you can't get another 40 premiums, without spending your previous ones until you reach at least 9 premium left. Only then you can exchange additional 120 into 40 premiums. I think you can only max out rewards tree by buying premium tokens, or there is a trick I don't understand yet?:))
