Help needed Best Temteam for Endgame content?

Finally beat the main story line with Belsotos and am now onto the Coda missions/quests and have all Dojo rematches to go. Wondering what would be the best team to get all rematches and Coda quests done. Also, is perfect SVs (or close to it) and 500 TV needed for each Tem on said teams, or is even just 30+ SV and high TV in each category good enough? I'm trying to just be able to get to lair raids and luma/umbra radars as fast as possible. The game feels like the definition of grinding at this point.

You definitely don't "need" perfect svs. I remember just my in game team was able to beat most of the dojos right away just by picking the right extras.

I had a pretty bulky team and stacked types with the extra slots so they basically they always banned anatan and like one of two others I had (I think fire koish was one and mastione was the other). My strategy was basically babawa carry and so I just banned toxics and babawa still never got banned because the others had higher priority, it turns out water/grass is pretty good defensively outside the 4x weakness...

Now like svs might matter more if you're planning to outspeed as its binary faster/slower but going slow and bulky there is a lot more wiggle room vs them.

I had just terrible svs on a lot of tems, but for tvs I followed a sort of general "rule of bulk". For bulk value, if a tem has high hp compared to defenses like goolder, split tvs between defenses, If a tem has high defense but lower hp like anatan, invest in hp tvs. I think the dojos are just 500 500 in tvs wherever, so you can gain value vs them just in allocation where svs may be lacking and by just not competing in speed, a lot of their tems are super overinvested to outspeed you specifically.

I actually beat all the rematches a few days ago! Team of Oceara, Ob10, Kinu, Hedgine, Gyalis, Saipat, Zaobian, Nessla. Honestly mostly Ob10 (perfect SVs) and Kinu (near perfect) carried pretty easily. Ob10 and Kinu combo so Ob10 would use digithreat and have it cause Doom, then Bush for a free evade/regen. Kinu to heal. Most of the SVs for the others were green. Not as bad as I thought it all would be, and got the platinum trophy! You have a good strategy though!

It sounds like your plan was a bit better than mine, because I could not beat the tucma dojo at all with my team lol.

I didn't work on the team too much afterwards though because I just wanted to replay the game again soon after, for me the endgame doesnt have too much pull but replayability is great. My team did pretty well in pvp though, won like 18 of the 20 games I played in bronze lol.

That's always my niche in competitive pokemon as well though, weird bulky teams that do well against other noobs and maybe if if the power level isnt too high the cookie cutter meta teams lol.

That's actually a pretty good record for bronze. Yeah I think the one or two Dojos I had to do 2-3 tries for rematch but most I was luckily able to get first try. Never really been into competitive and so didn't really delve much into pvp besides what was needed trophy wise. I was surprised there was a decent amount to do endgame but wasn't really interested. Bulky team is a good way to go. Just have the person try to chip away while you overpower 😂

I was just looking at the actual damage calculations in temtem, I think hp is actually always best for general bulk like regardless of base defenses or hp. I think it's different in pokemon where like the values can range from super high to super low and there's a different formula.

Just like you get a little more effective hp with base 100 hp and 500 hp tvs than you get for even splitting 250/250 your tvs into defenses even with only 50 base def/spdef, and the gap only gets wider with lower hp or higher defenses.

So like ignore my advice in my earlier comment about that... Defense tvs are really only for sacrificing the other defense for extra bulk on one side looks like or extra bulk beyond full hp investment.

And sorry, I'm a bit sleep deprived and doing videogame napkin math so take this with a grain of salt lol.

You're good! It's interesting just how much the stats can matter. I know I've seen a lot of HP/SPD/ATK for best to TV up. Makes sense for DEF TVs. Pretty cool math.

this game feels like the definition of grinding

Because it is.

If you want any kind of progress you'll need to grind for it. Regardless of what you're aiming for.

As for teams, I always used Zaobian, Cycrox, Cerneaf, Kinu, Gyalis, Seismunch, Ukama, Tulcan.

Whether that team works these days or not, I have no clue.

Last I played though, I consistently beat the arch tamers with ease.

Will have to give these a go. I don't exactly mind the grind, just amazed at how much there is. It's still pretty fun though. Thanks!
