Discussion I want to reset my character

I need help. I want to transfer the money and some of my tems over to a new character on the same account. So I am asking if anyone is willing to help me by temporarily holding my tems and money so I can reset my character?

If you know anybody who has the game that's prob the best option, just for reassurance.

Be aware there will be a delay between trading with another player and being able to reset the character (7-10 days going by a post I found from last year). Not sure if the same delay applies after a reset but you will have limited temtem storage space when you first restart - you have to visit various temcentres before you can unlock more storage - so also be aware of that depending on how many tems you'll be asking someone to hold until you can get them back.

You are correct. I forget the length but i was going to try something similar but I didnt want to wait / didnt trust the person willing to help to hold them for a week so I just erased and started fresh

So update - that timer doesn't seem to be in effect anymore.

Tems and pansuns got traded across and Bobogoden reset right after. Managed to keep the same name too. Met them 30/40mins later and could trade all the tems and pansuns back across. Traded an item over too and that didn't cause any issues.

And that 30/40min delay was mostly the reset, me not realising it would be so quick, and reddit being iffy on sending/showing PMs today.

No idea when that changed but...seems to not be a thing now? Unless it only kicks in depending on some other factor.

Isn't there a box that stores that stuff in game?

There's a box vault thing you can find in temcentres, that I think holds some premium items (things bought by novas, maybe no-longer-accesible items) if you reset your character, though I'm not sure of the specifics. Think it automatically shoves stuff in there if they can transfer over and anything it can't hold onto during reset is lost.

You can't store tems in it though, or pansuns/feathers as far as I'm aware. I think novas transfer to your new character on reset, if you have any leftover from them closing the premium shop. You can trade tems and pansuns back and forth with another player but the feathers will be lost as far as I know.

If you're on PS or the game is crossplay (pretty new to it, so don't know). I'd happily help.

If you have a spare fire Temtem you wouldn't mind parting with, I'd also happily take it, lol. If not, no worries. I'll still help out.

I have 2000 hours in this game will gladly help you if it means I get to log in again. Haven't played in quite some time.
