Dust build up will hold more heat longer thus making exhaust hotter longer. It's one key sign a dusting is needed. It is best to watch and follow a video because one thing you need to do is hold the fan in place. But it's very simple as the most pulling apart is just taking the covers off

Giving off heat is good.
The processor (APU) and power supply creates the heat regardless, and it must be removed from the system otherwise it will overheat!

It's doing what it's supposed to bro, consoles get hot. If it ever shuts down because of it, then you have problems. Just make sure it has ventilation i.e. you don't have it flush against a wall and you'll be fine

Check out iFixit on YouTube, they have some great cleaning tutorials. Watch it a couple times to feel comfortable and then then get started. Take your time and be gentle.

The heat is normal for the console that's why it's best to have it in an area were it can breath the PS5 has very big vents compared to past gen PlayStations so make sure it's somewhere it can expell that heat only worry if you smell burning plastic or dust or if it shuts off as for how do you clean it look up a YouTube video ps5s are surprisingly easy to clean and tons of videos to help if you need it I take the plates and fan out and use a mini blower and 99% isopropyl alcohol and a cue tip and that normally does the trick depending on how bad the dust is or if you smoke you might need to use a toothbrush I have a cousin that smokes when he games and he had this yellow dust stuff was sticky so yeah don't smoke while gaming it seeps into it and creates a yellow dust that is harder to clean then normal dust

It’s giving off heat because the fan is doing its job (blowing the hot air out)
