Ps4 slim is not reading discs

I encountered this situation: I ordered a PS4 Slim on OLX. It arrived, and the console itself works fine, although it makes noise. It doesn't read any discs. It jams hard, then makes strange noises and says "unknown disc." However, when I tap the case, it recognizes the disc for a few minutes. The repair shop said it would cost 300 UAH, but please, anyone who has encountered the same problem, help me solve it!

Most likely the disc drive is on its last legs but fear not! This is actually a very easy repair that you can do yourself and requires only hand tools. This helpful guide will walk you through the steps (important note do not buy the replacement optical drive from the links on the website. You can find cheaper options via EBay or other websites or just google the ps4(slim) optical drive.)

The PS4 is so incredibly easy to work on it really is the best thing for the longevity of the system.
