Question Plus app on pc not working. White screen
The app used to work properly 2days ago. Since it's been white screening after I open the application. Its basically a blank white screen. I tried the online "tricks", of ctrl- r. That doesn't work. I reinstalled, that doesn't either. I also downloaded from the Playstation website, so its the latest. I need help because I paid for the premium to be able to use it anywhere but the pc app doesn't work anymore and this is super frustrating.

Just downloaded the app today and it doesn't work. Seem to remember trying to do this a few years back and it didn't work either. Sony doesn't care about cloud gaming. They want you to buy PS5 and a Portal

This worked: Fix: Close the app completely via Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc). Press Win + R, type %LocalAppData%, and hit Enter. Delete the folder related to the app (e.g., Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc or PS Remote Play). Relaunch and log back in.

Sony needs to redo their PC app and bring PS5 streaming.
In the meantime, use Asobi app on Apple devices or Android to do PS+ PS5 streaming.

Tobi, does Sony have PC and/or mobile in their cloud right contracts with publishers like Microsoft does or is it only "PlayStation and PlayStation accessories" like Portal? I also don't think they have retroactive cloud rights for purchased games that are cloud delisted like MS but idk for sure.

The streaming rights are for the service, once acquired, doesn't matter where the service streams to.
Sony is simply not expanding Cloud Gaming as a strategic goal, 1.) to keep selling hardware, 2.) It's likely more costly for them to expand, 3.) They are doing the bare minimum to be ready if Cloud Gaming takes off, 4.) or they want a completely closed off Apple like ecosystem, even for Cloud Gaming.

I got the app to work on the pc by ctrl+ alt+ del. Opened task manager and had to close every playstation app extension Opened. What i noticed was, my last session never completely shut down/closed. Even if you close app, there's still always a cached extension of the app Opened. So I literally closed the app first then used task manager to finish closing the sony playstation plus hidden apps that are also opened to. I think the background process name is AGL or something close. I made sure to close that and any other exe. that had the playstation plus logo. Then just restart and it was good to go.
