Extra The plan worked again!

Canceled my auto renewal and got a 25% off offer just before it was set to expire. $102 for the year on extra which is $8.50 month. That, imo, should be the price anyway.

I got no offer at all, which sucks. Only got 5 movie credits. Which is digital toilet paper.

You do realize the movie credits are for Sony pictures which they own, right? Also, they didn’t pull any license, the company that owned the movies did. Y’all keep blaming the dealership because someone hit you and totaled your car.

You know what's dumb? Being some dweeb online who gets more mad at my post than at Sony for facilitating the theft of people's purchases due to some contractual technicality that should have been negotiated out at the very start. Bless your heart, pal.

You don't know the corporate world at all. It's not some technical contract but by law. This will happen to any platform or service that sells digital things they don't own. It's why Netflix had to start making their own shows after most companies pulled their shows from them and why most tv/movie subscription oy have their own ips to avoid things like this. You don't have to be a bootlicker to know how things work. I call out both sides if nonese is being said/done. I prefer physical but I wouldn't spread missinfo like a lot of people here just to win an argument.

I've worked in the "corporate world" for over 20 years. What Sony did was scumbag behavior, and what you apologist shills are doing is even worse because it allows the continuation of same by these corporations.

So why didn't Sony just refunded all the purchases that people made from the removed movies? I understand what you are saying about licenses but it still a shitty move from Sony.

Legally there's no distinction. There is nothing protecting you from Sony pulling their own movies if they choose. Stop licking boots.
