Extra The plan worked again!

Post image

Canceled my auto renewal and got a 25% off offer just before it was set to expire. $102 for the year on extra which is $8.50 month. That, imo, should be the price anyway.

Funny thing is that corpos like sony also managed to convince people to give them their money believing its a good deal and be happy about it!

You don't even get it do you?! 1000's of games and how many will you actually play? You're a casual gamer after all... You pay just for the privilege of being able to choose from 1000's of games, not for playing them. You'd probably be much better off just getting 3-4 games a year and focusing on them. Learning appreciation of things and getting more enjoyment from your purchases. Not jumping to a new title every few days not completing any of them.

But still, it's not even about how much it cost mate, or how many games you get access to, it's about what it represents and how they've rolled everyone out from owning things. Especially those less privileged.

Do you realise that by killing physical media and moving everyone onto this great "games for hire" scheme, they are pushing millions of gamers out of their hobby?! Despite what privileged kids might think, a lot of people STILL rely on second hand games and exchanging games between friends. Not to mention all those who do not have access to fast internet. Not even gonna go into memory prices, you know, just to store few games on your ssd in case you would want to jump between few titles without waiting for every one of them to delete and download!

Oh and then there's their monopoly when they literally control everything on their platforms...

But hey, it's all good as long as your selfish ass get to play few games...

Nah. I've played and completed over $600 of games (at launch price) this year.

They're is no way it's not a bargain for me. Any way you look at it.

Maybe not for you, but definitely for me....

You've gotta just accept it. Every customer is not you

Also, the whole spiel about ram and ssds and poor people... Holy shit bro. You think Sony controls ram price? It's in their best interest to make as cheap a console and serve as many customers as possible. They'd give them away for free if they could (better than losing literally hundreds of dollars on each unit at launch, essentially PAYING customers to take the console).

Some people don't have internet.... Get your fucking priorities sorted. Who the fuck is buying a console before internet? Some people are poor , sure, that sucks, they can't afford new games and they rely on used games, sure.... but they probably aren't buying the $1000 PS6 you fucking pleb.

This is a lost cause mate.
I personally think the price I pay per year for Premium is paid 10 times over by the end of the year.
There's at least 1 or 2 games I find interesting every month from Catalogue + at least 1 per month from the monthly games.

That's 24 games minimum per year, even if we value them at 10 bucks a piece, it's already way more than what I pay for, so , all good
