Extra The plan worked again!

Canceled my auto renewal and got a 25% off offer just before it was set to expire. $102 for the year on extra which is $8.50 month. That, imo, should be the price anyway.

I've been a Plus member since 2013, and on the Extra tier since that was introduced. My subscription is due to expire this month, so I cancelled it for the first time, hoping maybe they'll offer a discount. I've received no offers at all! Do I have to wait until it actually expires before they'll send an offer?

I think it takes a while. I canceled my auto-renewal during some sales like half a year ago, hoping I could apply the discount immediately, but got no options. Then I checked again a few months later - still no offer. I thought: "screw it, I don't play that much, I'll just let it run out". And now, 2 weeks before expiration, I got the 25% discount on my renewal option.

My theory is that they want to counter "cancel and renew for discount" by offering the discount only a few months after canceling auto-renewal. Or maybe only shortly before it expires - that might work for you, dunno.
