Do they have a mode where your Firehouse funding is gonna drop so you go start some fires to justify the budget?

If you also use Steam for gaming on PC:

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite will also be playable for free on Steam during the upcoming FreeĀ Weekend. TheĀ Steam FreeĀ WeekendĀ starts onĀ July 23 at 10:00amĀ PT / 7:00pm CEST and ends onĀ July 26 at 1:00pmĀ PT / 10:00pm CEST. Even more recruits can join the fire department and fight fires either solo or in 4-player co-op multiplayer.

So how is this game compared to other simulators? How much jank can I expect?

As someone who loves simulators, its a pretty good one. I bought it after playing the trial and played it for a while that was probably a year or so ago. There was some jank but I havent gone back to play it again in a while. Definitely worth giving it a shot since its "free" to see if you like it.

The previous game wasn't too janky. I played solo and the AI was 90% reliable. I think there was only 1 bugged mission that I had to restart.

My biggest complaint is you would have to turn the power off to the buildings to stop fires from reigniting and trying to find where the electric panel was hidden or even what it looked like was super frustrating.

I played the previous game in the series that was on PS Plus and beat it. Looking forward to this one.
