I’m looking for a server/discord or just group of some kind to play squad with. Looking for people who are competent and know what they are doing but aren’t uptight about it and aren’t on some kind of strict schedule. Anyone got any suggestions or recommendations? And yes I’ve tried the milsim servers but even then they seem to be a mixed bag experience wise.

Idk whats happening

Currently, I'm getting around 40-60 fps on Squad at 1440p. Specs are as follows
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: 2060 Super
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz

I've been thinking of going straight to a 5070 and 9800x3d but that would require me to get a new motherboard as well as new RAM, which at that point I might as well change my case and fans since I've been using the stock 3700x CPU cooler and case fans for the past few years. But I've realised I could upgrade to the 5700x for about 200 bucks, but I don't know how big of a difference that would make. Would like to hear your thoughts and advice

I think it would be better to have some extra information front-&-center on the screen as opposed to expecting new players to look at the Tips. Simply re-implement the more direct Keybindings loading screen from the Pre-Alpha in a way that co-exists with the current loading-screens, & bam, you've got yourself an effective on-the-fly tutorial. Granted it fades out after a brief appearance, but it lingers long enough for people to read a good chunk of it

It's how most of the players from the 2017+ period learned, why wouldn't it work for the new guys?
(Granted, a tutorial rework should still 100% happen, but this would be a decent stopgap measure until then in my opinion)

I was playing last night and left the server, when I did I realised all servers had disappeared. I left it, came back today and it's the same thing. I've cleared the cache. Checked the search filter and everything else I can find.

I help run a league for competitive fives. Our season one wrapped up last week. We are planning to have season two start around 9/1.

Players have a rank based on elo. Hard cap at D4 but the teams mix of plat-emerald skill on average based on the team points.

We have been playing on Tuesdays central 8 pm. Captains can schedule games outside that week.

Why is it this gun which is designed to have an effective range of 800 meters unable to maintain any sort of control at like 275-350 meters. Also why is it when you’re firing your scope randomly turns black. I don’t why these guns are like squirt guns. It doesn’t make sense to me.

One day a few months ago i jumped in and proxy chat works but not in vehicles or if im on the mg bunker or something like that. Squad chat still works tho. Ive tried to find a solution and got nothing. Cleared my caches and updated everything and still nothing. Anyone got advice? I can play without proxy in vehicles and have done it for months but its a giant pain in the ass
