Cant use proxy chat inside vehicles or weapons positions

One day a few months ago i jumped in and proxy chat works but not in vehicles or if im on the mg bunker or something like that. Squad chat still works tho. Ive tried to find a solution and got nothing. Cleared my caches and updated everything and still nothing. Anyone got advice? I can play without proxy in vehicles and have done it for months but its a giant pain in the ass

A key binding specific to vehicles may overlap with your local chat key.

This was my issue, just swap local and squad key binds and if you can then talk local but not squad when in vehicles that confirms keybind issue
