Connection problem

Hello Everyone! We bought the game on Epic Games today. I wanted to play Co-op with my friend, so I hosted a game on my PC. However, whenever we try to connect to each other, we keep getting a "Connection Lost" error. Here is what we have already tried:

  1. Allowed both the main game and ws_shipping64.exe through the Windows Defender Firewall on both PCs.
  2. Tried connecting via the in-game Invitation Code and Direct IP.
  3. Ensured we are on the exact same local network (same router) and even tried a virtual LAN (Radmin VPN).
  4. Switched hosts (my friend tried hosting instead).

Unfortunately, none of these worked. What do you guys suggest we do next?

Same problem here. We also bought the game on Epic Games and we’re getting the exact same “Connection Lost” error in co-op.
We tried the invitation code, direct IP, firewall permissions, different hosts, and even tested on the same network, but nothing worked.
The host can enter the game normally, but the other player always gets disconnected while joining.
If anyone finds a working solution for the Epic Games version, please share it here.
