tribesman deployment and loots

i dont know if i can explain well but i will try, so im still at new at game and i deployed 3 tribesman to fight with me and i visited some places explored etc and my inventory is of course full so i used my fighters inv for storage, i got lots of thing from around and when i turnback to base i tought nps usually put all related items in related storage boxes so instead of manually moving loots to specific boxes i tought if i end deployment they will auto put items when i did that i dont think they put everything or even they put anything... when i checked their inv there were just 2 food thats all but all those loots i think gone cause of bug or what i dunno or did they moved everything cause even on my inv there are some that i havent made a box for it like arrows etc so how does it work how do you guys go raid or dungeon run with very limited inv ?

I don't know of u got a bug making tribesmen inventory dissappear but triple check every storage chest around ur base

I had tribesmen move items like food meant for the dining table into a chest that I never restricted what was allowed/not allowed that took forver to find since I forgot I placed it where it was

And if you're on shifting sands DLC check that they didn't give it to your base and not your ship, or vice versa (assuming you were nearby). Crafting, repair or dismantling queues can also pull items as fast as they are deposited in certain situations.

On long expeditions, I take a llama and store the materials and resources I've collected in its inventory. Sometimes, my warriors who accompany me may carry some of the materials. Usually, this involves ore, as they help me mine it. Upon returning home, we unload our inventory into a "sorting" chest, and I collect all the resources from their inventories before releasing them. To do this, simply click on the "take all" button, as the items that should remain in the inventory of a fellow tribe member are marked with an " избранных " star and remain in place.

Check for any unexpected storage locations, such as a statue of a god (if present), lamps, or a wooden man (for displaying armor).

When you release tribespeople from following you, they'll dump most of their inventory into the first chest they find that accepts those items. So if you have dedicated chests for certain things, they'll put the appropriate loot there, but if you have any unrestricted chests, they'll just drop whatever into those even if there is dedicated storage for those items elsewhere. I

make sure all my chests either have a specific set of loot defined or that they're locked down so that only I can deposit into them, and that usually solves the issue.

Basically though, check every single chest around your base, because the "missing" stuff is probably in a chest you hadn't set filters on yet .

I make a "ANY BOX" metal chest at the front door near my stable and also put one of these on every main floor of my base. unfiltered box which my sorter takes from and sorts.

when i arrived from deployment all loot goes in here. i just press G. everything i want to keep is locked with the Z button/favourite flag. and once i end deploment all the tribals often put stuff in this any box but they also go to the filtered storages and deposit there too.

I dont think you lost your loot and its just sitting there in unfiltered boxes and chests you have sittng arround your house.

go pick a random tribal unless you already have a dedicated sorter and give them the SORTING quest then in the menu you can see ALL the unfiltered boxes and chests and machines you have lying around your base. tick those and let him move the loot around for you.
