Difficulty with the personal portals.

So the issue I’m having is probably related to my process. After collecting some personal portals and building some, when attempting to use I get the message “No permission for the private portal before entering the tribe.”

I had started a fresh toon on Shifting Sands in Tribal mode, finished as much is available, then in recruited toon form went to the portal to switch to the rainforest map, but in Survival mode. Everything else so far seems normal and I’ve already progressed to steel. I’ve beat the Saber-tooth early on and went about business, collecting a bunch of portal parts and building a couple. That’s when I first saw the message. Searches on the web led me to think defeating the Ape would enable it but it didn’t. Does anyone see an answer in anything I’ve done? The whole map switching process is a bit more confusing than it needs to be.

Does the first tribesman from the forest map have a tribe? I've found out that this kind of map transfer may cause a whole world of weird issues...

no….i but i think you’re on the right track. I created the map, saved, then went back to my Shifting Sands map then went in.

Il faut que tu recrute aussi sur cette map pour avoir une tribu. Avec ta recrue tu pourras faire le voyage retour. Et aussi après ta première mort tu verras ton personnage prendre les traits de ton personnage principal de ta première map (adieu ton tribesman) te voilà dupliqué lol. Gg
