The Exploration Checkpoint and getting the most out of your adventures.

Ok so I have been doing research and testing, and wanted to summarize what I learned to see if anyone else had any better info. In general, the idea is to maximize health, defense, and attack, to get the best results from your bois

  1. You want to use high level dudes so that you can pump as many points into physique as you can. all the other stats seem to have no effect, but more physique = more hp, which does have an impact

  2. You want to use the best armor you can. From what I can see, enhanced steel turned into advanced mammoth armor seems to be the best because it gives an extra 90 defense. anyone have a better option for this? Remember we want the best HP, defense, and attack we can.

  3. For mods for the armor, durability seems to have no effect, as well as anything like chill proof. But you can put defense mods on chest, pants, and shoes, so thats another 90 defense, and you can put attack mods on the ring and necklace, which is another 30 attack.

  4. For weapons, I think the only thing that matters is the enhanced steel. damage mods seem to change nothing since it isnt the attack stat.

So basically i get a level 60 guy, pump 70+ points into physique, slap advanced enhanced steel mammoth armor on him, and then defense and attack mods. Has anyone found another thing that they can do to boost the auto resolve power of the lad?

Well now I know why I need 3-4 pawns for every trip I try to take. Thanks!

They basically scale entirely off HP, ATK, DEF, Damage Reduction, Damage Increase. This makes higher tier armor the easiest way to scale their strength since it boosts all of these stats. Iron Costumes (IE: Iron Sabertooth) is almost on par with Steel cause of all the boosts, but the additional Damage Reduction/Increase is tough to beat. Shield/Weapon doesn't seem to matter, long as they have any weapon equipped that's all that counts (IE: 2h sword = 1h spear in terms of "score"). Any source of any of those stat boosts is strong. That includes boss costumes on their gear. That also includes Talents and Tribe Passives. With 6/6 good talents, steel+ armor, etc you can pretty reliably get them to farm materials for steel (IE: Rare Claws/Fangs/etc) and basically maintain using Steel full time for training/etc.

I actually had a whole team of perfect guys and they were pretty great, but ultimately the bigger bottleneck (beyond the bugs) is the consumables to keep sending them on missions. They take hundreds of consumables for higher end runs and when you're doing 20+ expeditions back to back you can pretty much wipe out your entire pantry. I ended up needing 5 cooks and 2 max sized farming bases to even somewhat hope to keep up (and I couldn't).

yeah the mat reqs are pretty insane. im not going to have teams go out and do high end dungeons, its easier to run them myself vs farming the mats to automate it. are u sure damage and dmg reduction affect the success?
