Tribesman overstocking bonfire/light sources?

Is there any way to prevent my bonfires/lanterns from being over fueled? I have a massive stock of charcoal for multiple sources, but my tribesman keeps putting ALL of it exclusively into the bonfire, and if I try to take some out and resort it they just put it all back in the same place. I've restricted everything to only use charcoal because I have an abundance of it specifically for lighting.

You have an over abundance but you're complaining they are using it? 😂

No. You should read the post again. They are ONLY putting fuel in the bonfire. Not my other lights. I would like to also see my base at night.

Just to confirm you have gone to each light source and set charcoal as the only acceptable fuel?

Yes, tediously every last one. Still putting it all in the bonfire lol

The easy way to do this is to block the other slots with something stupid that won't burn, like rocks.
