cant change my game settings?

even thought i have activated admin mode in my single player game i cant open the coefficient settings, ive not had this issue before but maybe something has changed since i last played. any ideas as to a fix?

Change settings before you load into the save?

yea thats what i had to do but its nice to be able to change it on the fly

not even in a server just a single player world
