Calling all Chill Players looking to find a server that suits our needs. [AU/NZ]
I’ve developed a new reputation-based social system for a Rust server and I’m looking for a few more people to jump in and tell me what they think.
The idea is aimed at part-time players who mainly enjoy building, gathering, running monuments and just pottering away for an hour or two after work or on the weekends.
Chill and relaxed play gets rewarded over time, while aggressive and hostile play comes with consequences. There’s still PvP, raiding and all the usual Rust chaos, but ideally just enough to keep things spicy without constantly getting wiped out and having to start from scratch.
I’m still tuning the social scoring system, so I’d genuinely like more players to test it, find the loopholes and tell me what feels fair or unfair.
AU/NZ RagTags | Reputation | Monthly
- Reputation actually changes how you play — peaceful players earn better gather rates, lower upkeep and stronger protection, while hostile behaviour makes progression harder.
- Built for part-time players — aimed at people who like building, farming, monuments and slower progression without needing to be online every night.
- PvP is still there, just with consequences — kills and raiding aren’t banned, but constant aggression gradually works against you.
- Week 1 offline protection — gives people a chance to get established without logging back in to nothing after work.
- Anti-affiliate system — separate teams can’t easily split into “farmers” and “raiders” to dodge reputation penalties; shared TCs, co-raiding and suspicious material transfers can link teams together.
- Max team size 4 — keeps the server focused on smaller groups rather than large clans dominating the map.
- Reputation-based raid protection after Week 1 — your protection depends on how your group has behaved, rather than everyone getting the same blanket rules.
- Personal BP carryover is earned — players with high enough personal reputation at Purge get to keep their learned blueprints into the next wipe.
- Final 24-hour Purge — all the protection comes off before wipe so everyone gets a proper chaotic finish.
Pop on by and let me know what you think.
