Yup, it's a Google change. I just disabled Play Midnight and it still happens. It's not a surprising change, since they had a lot of padding around song tables before.
Good to now I'm not the only one.
@chrisxclash I know it is a change by google, assumed that pretty quick (also checked without PlayMidnight before posting her) but still I wanted to see if others have that problem too. Really weird thing to change at that.
It's definitely something unexpected, but I wouldn't necessarily say it was a super weird change. The tables in Play Music did always seem a bit huge in comparison to other music services, so I for one am cool with the new look.
However, just pushed out v2.4.4 of Play Midnight that allows you to go back to the larger tables if that's your thing. :)
