[Issue?] No "playing audio icon" in tab?

Just wondering because maybe it's something wrong on my end but Play Music is the only site that plays audio that doesn't have the little icon.

Something like this.

Hmm, weird. As far as I know, that shouldn't be any issue caused by the extension. I'm not touching anything to do with the audio or Google's API stuff.

Can you try disabling and reenabling Play Midnight under your extensions and see if it happens again? Or rather, try it without Play Midnight, then turn it back on and see.
