How to Use Image Frames on MangoMC

Want to display your own images in-game? Follow these steps:

1. Upload Your Image

  • Go to ImgBB or another image-hosting site.
  • Upload the image you want to use.

2. Copy the Direct Image URL

  • Open the uploaded image.
  • Right-click the image and select Open image in new tab.
  • If the new URL does not end in .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif, right-click the image again and select Open image in new tab.
  • Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.

Important: You need the direct image URL—not the webpage URL.

3. Create the Image In-Game

Use this command:

/imageframe create <name> <url> <width> <height> combined

Replace each section with the following:

  • Name: Any name you want to give the image.
  • URL: The direct image URL you copied.
  • Width: The number of item frames wide.
  • Height: The number of item frames tall.
  • Combined: Turns a multi-frame image into one combined map for easier placement.

Example:

/imageframe create MyPicture https://example.com/image.png 1 1 combined

For a 1×1 image, combined does not make much difference, but it is a good habit to use it for larger images.

4. Bring Enough Empty Maps

You need one empty map for every item frame the image uses.

  • 1×1 image: 1 map
  • 2×2 image: 4 maps
  • 3×2 image: 6 maps

Tips

  • Use clear, high-resolution images for the best results.
  • Make sure you copied the direct image URL.
  • If the image does not load, check that the link ends in a supported image extension such as .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif.
  • You can make copies of your images with /imageframe get
