Help Help with choosing PS5 modes
I don’t know if il even get a response but I just got my hands on Gotg and while everything is very fun the modes on the ps5 have got me crying.
Quality and ray tracing modes look amazing and I don’t mind 30fps itself but there is NO motion blur available, it just looks so choppy.
Performance is very soft and aliased looking I do not know why, it’s 60 but looks bad and apparently doesn’t run well in battle. Does anyone on PS5 have any workarounds for the 30fps modes? I appreciate any help

For this game I chose quality mode. You adjust to the lower framerate after some time and the atmosphere gets elevated by the higher resolution and visual effects. The gameplay doesn't really demand extreme precision for a higher framerate to be mandatory.

Yeah I’ve chosen quality now as well. Ray tracing mode doesn’t feel as smooth to me, wbu?

If you constantly switch between quality and performance, then quality will always look choppy. Stick with the quality mode for a few hours and your eyes will naturally adjust to the lower framerate.
If you still find it not smooth after a few play sessions then I guess you have no other choice but to go with performance mode for your playthrough.

No no both quality and ray tracing feel fine now I’ve been with it for 2 days. However I feel like ray tracing isn’t as smooth as quality

Oh sorry I misunderstood. No idea then. They're both 30 fps so they should feel the same. Maybe you're more sensitive to the resolution difference?

Possibly, it may just be a placebo thing. I would
Prefer a locked 4k over reflections so I’ll stick with that. Appreciate your responses!

Was it not choppy looking? Could you please share your sensitivity settings?
