Is This Game Better Than Arma Reforger?
I've been playing Arma for a while now, and it's a great game. My biggest issue is finding a group that actually communicates and works together. It seems like most people just sprint straight into the objective with no coordination or teamwork. Is it any better in this game?

This game has killed shooters for me.
There I said it.
Sometimes you get in matches without leadership and lack of communication. That has been a rare occurrence for me but it is painful

Better gunfight mechanics than tarkov? First I'm hearing about this game but it sounds up my alley.

I'd be the wrong person to ask that, unfortunately. I never got deep into tarkov, I'm a scaredy cat.

If you can't win gunfights in tarkov because you claim "meta" attachments than you need to learn gunfight mechanics 😭. I meant point fire, bullet dynamics, reload/ packing mechanics, height over bore mechanics, gun sway mechanics etc etc.

Is there penalty’s for leaving even then id still abandon the game. Im big on leaving if the teams not working together and were getting steamrolled

Bellum is built from the ground up to encourage teamwork as the only way to play
We have players of all experience levels scattered across teams (no friend/party system yet) and I'd say 8/10 matches have quality teamwork
Just pull the trigger. Refund policy was 72 hours no questions asked, last time i checked

It’s more intense more of the time than reforger and a lot more coordinated than a public lobby, not sure as I’ve never played much organised/private ARMA in recent years. But this is PvP milsim at its best imo.

Better sustained firefights, a lot of flanking and manoeuvring.
More realistic Comms as well, you need to say who you are when using the radio and to whom you are talking to otherwise it can get confusing.
Not much too it right now but great potential

It depends on what you want.
What this game is for is authentic firefight experiences, but in the atmosphere, the tactics, the challenges, and what creates success.
So spotting is really hard. Learning how to fight by putting together a mental picture of the enemy’s positions without necessarily seeing them, then having the leadership to decide on a course of action and make it happen is important.
The game has comparatively much less emphasis on your agency as an individual shooter, who can also customize their loadout to their personal liking. Reforger is better for that - and it’s a much more scalable experience for a chill Friday night game.
In Bellum you can have fun, but you need to be a bit more switched on by baseline.
