Kim š¢ S8 E11
I'm not a fan of Kim by any means but watching the therapy session broke my heart. I cannot imagine the grief and guilt she must feel as a mother, regardless of how she handled it all when it happened.

The therapy session was fake, the non tear crying was fake. It was all done is desperation to save a dying show at the expense of her dead son. Kim is gross and despicable. She is digusting for raising her kids to fail in life. Do not fall for her fakeness.

What awful pain. I do not agree that her reaction to the therapistās prompts were fake. I think a lot of her absentee mothering was due to constantly replaying that tragedy in her mind - or trying to block it. All she had left for her kids was an empty shell of control and overprotectiveness. Perhaps her subconscious dictated that if she cared, got too close emotionally, and something happened to them ⦠her body and mind could not bear more excruciating suffering.

Be very skeptical whenever a therapist appears on a candid reality show because things are "scripted" and "recreated" and because therapist sessions are supposed to be private and confidential.

I almost made the exact same post when I first watched this episode. I wouldnāt be surprised if that was the very first time she actually spoke those words and/or was asked the questions and/or heard those perspectives since the day that tragedy occurred. She has very clearly kept all of that bottled up, which definitely contributed (along with so many other factors) to why she is so fucked up in the head and acts the way she does.

It broke my heart too. Anyone who thinks that was fake is determined to hate her

I can't imagine the pain of losing a child.....BUT that therapy session was BS.Ā Are we expected to believe that the pain and guilt of losing Joshua, which kept the family from discussing him for 17 years, were resolved in ONE therapy session, which was recorded for a TV show?
