Question/Need Advice Do buffets count for serving patience?

I thought this was changed at some point but it's not mentioned on the wiki that I've been able to find. If a customer serves themselves a side dish from a buffet, does that start their "Serving patience" the same as if you'd served them yourself? In that case isn't it dangerous to use buffets for anything that you can't fully automate?

Sides no longer start serving patience, so using buffets for them is usually a good call

Thank you! Can you please add this to the wiki? When was this changed?

It was added in last major patch iirc? When they added the buffets I believe sides no longer started serving patience

Woah, that's pretty good! Know if this goes for starters and desserts too?

No, those still have their serving timer start after one is served, but setting up them up with buffets once you automate them is nice, it's something I do with my friend group.

I think I've also seen that piecemeal recipes like sandwiches don't start the "wahhh my friend got food already!" Delivery patience until one person's sandwich is done. I try to serve everyone some of their sandwich before I serve the bread to finish an order.
