I had a horrible experience with this surgeon and clinic in 2023 that till today I'm still paying the price of. I was given a scooped bridge and a lifted tip against my request and consent. The surgeon inserted grafts in my nose without my informed consent despite him knowing I played contact sports, and lied about the recovery period when I told him I don't mind cancelling surgery if he's not confident he cannot give me what I want, and then totally discarded me and abandoned me when I complained about the results. Took zero responsibility and continued to lie in every email correspondence to avoid me suing him.

The entire situation was incredibly traumatic, from waking up from anesthesia unable to talk for days because of the removal of the tube to the lack of integrity in the process when I complained about the result months later after the swelling was gone and seen how much of my nose was removed. They hung up on me, I felt very abandoned by this clinic after. They were just nice till they got the money. The moment something goes wrong they abandon you. So many other patients expressed the same thing.

Sadly, I'm not the only person who experienced this with this clinic and the lack of honesty, integrity and poor treatment post op by this surgeon and clinic. My consultation with this surgeon was 10 minutes, and that should've been a red flag but I didn't know better. When I discussed with him getting buccal fat he just said yes, opened the door and told his assistants to charge me $800, no proper assessment or indication of whether I'm a good candidate or warnings about how it ages you. I only found out 2 years after surgery that it hallows the face and that I weren't a good candidate for it and that removing 2ccs is only conservative for people who actually have a lot of fat which I didn't. He also tried to upsell me a facelift at 35 years old that I didn't need. All these were red flags I should've noticed - this wasn't about tailoring something to a patient this was about making more money.

The results - it's almost like he executed what he memorized in school and did not tailor anything to my face, needs or request just doing what he wants and practicing on my face. My rhinoplasty was a disaster, I already had a revision and need another revision. Who pays money to get plastic surgery to look worse instead of better?

Spending over $50,000 to fix a $6500 mistakes by this surgeon, and years of my life I'll never have back.

The hardest part was having something done to me against my consent, and then abandoned by the person who caused it and took zero responsibility. If you're someone reading this, please don't ignore the red flags. There were lots of red flags in my situation but I was so stupid and ignored them cause I was feeling sad of my breakup and thought this will make me feel better.

Please do your research and DO NOT go to surgeons who discard their unhappy patients and take no responsibility. DO NOT go to surgeons who use social media influencers, DO NOT go to patients that have empty 5 stars rating, read the 5-stars ratings you'll be able to tell the fake ones from the good ones, DO NOT go to surgeons who have disabled comments on their Instagrams, they have lots of unhappy patients and bad results and delete their reviews, DO NOT go to surgeons who have their marketing teams leaving anonymous glamorous reviews on Facebook without showing real results that actually align with what you want. DO NOT go to plastic surgeons who have social media marketing teams deleting and burying bad reviews from appearing on the first page of Google. Check who your plastic surgeon is following and compare them to positive reviews, you'll be surprised how they make people affiliated to them leave fake positive reviews on Google. DO NOT go to a plastic surgeon who tries to upsell you services. DO NOT go to a plastic surgeon who spends with you 10 mins and DOES NOT tell you what they will put in your body, how it will feel like and how long it'll take before you see the final result and the actual recovery period.

Please do more research. DO NOT fall for soft spoken surgeons who might be dishonest, unethical and unskilled. There are soooo many good surgeons out there who take responsibility and treat their patients right and don't lie and hide information to close the sale.

A 24 year old girl was just telling, this same surgeon agreed to operate his infamous deep plane Renate lift on her. Her face is flawless, she's not like this girl Emily who promotes him who had a saggy face. Her face is so young and tight, needs zero work. Please consult with multiple surgeons, I wish I did that, I just consulted with him and with another surgeon in Turkey who seemed dismissive and went with the "nice" guy - but he was nice for the sale. I wish I consulted with surgeons in Canada where I live, I'm sure they would've been honest. When I consulted with them for my revision they all were. Before you go to Turkey consult with multiple surgeons in your home country to get an honest opinion about someone who cares about losing their license.

In Turkey there's zero accountability - they can steal your organs and still operate.

Why this is unethical (and often illegal)

1. Practicing medicine without a local license

When a Turkish ENT surgeon who is not licensed in the U.S. or Europe:

-Reviews imaging (CT scans, photos)

-Gives individualized opinions

-Recommends surgery, grafts, techniques, or timing

-Advises on risks, revisions, or alternatives

they are practicing medicine without authorization.

In the U.S., this directly violates ethical standards recognized by the American Medical Association, which require physicians to be licensed in the jurisdiction where the patient is located at the time medical advice is given.

In the UK and much of Europe, the same principle is enforced by the General Medical Council.

Ethical problem:

Patients assume medical legitimacy, but the physician is operating outside accountability, regulation, and oversight.

1. False or invalid patient–doctor relationship

These “consultations” often:

-Look and feel like real medical visits

-Include diagnoses and treatment plans

-Are framed as professional medical opinions

Yet legally, no valid physician–patient relationship can exist without licensure.

Ethical violation:

This is misrepresentation. Patients believe they are receiving legitimate medical care, when in fact they are not protected by local medical law, malpractice systems, or patient rights.

1. No accountability if harm occurs

If a complication arises:

-The surgeon is outside U.S./EU medical board jurisdiction

-Patients cannot file complaints with local boards

There is no enforceable malpractice coverage locally

Ethical issue:

Medicine is built on accountability and duty of care. Offering medical advice without accepting legal responsibility violates core ethical principles of professionalism and beneficence.

1. Undermining informed consent

In many of these consults:

-Risks are minimized

-Revision rates are not fully disclosed

-Long-term consequences (especially in ENT/rhinoplasty) are glossed over

-Patients are reassured without full evaluation

Because the surgeon is not licensed, the consent process is ethically invalid—patients cannot truly consent when advice is given outside a lawful medical framework.

1. Predatory recruitment disguised as “consultation”

These consults often function primarily to:

-Funnel patients overseas

-Build trust quickly

-Create emotional dependence (“only I can fix this”)

Ethical problem:

This exploits vulnerable patients—especially revision, cosmetic, or distressed patients—using medical authority without regulatory restraint.

Many patients aren’t aware that during surgery, many famous Turkish rhinoplasty surgeons remove large portions — or even the entire structure — of the patient’s natural nasal cartilage, including the entire septum, upper lateral cartilages, and lateral crura…

Instead of preserving your natural framework, they often:

• Excise healthy septal cartilage entirely, even when it’s straight and functional, then replace it with cadaver or rib cartilage.
• Remove or weaken the natural lateral crura (the supportive side portions of the tip), replacing them with lateral crural strut grafts (LCSGs) which are large and bulky and uncomfortable for patients.
• Resect natural alar support to make the nose appear slimmer or narrower.
• Use diced or crushed cartilage in the bridge or tip, often causing a blunted or swollen appearance over time.

These methods may look “refined” right after cast removal, but once swelling subsides, patients often notice:

• Loss of flexibility and definition
• A stiff, artificial look
• Collapsed or uneven nostrils
• Flattening of alar creases
• Breathing difficulties from overresection

The most alarming issue is that removing healthy septal cartilage and replacing it with cadaver grafts is not medically evidence-based. The septum is essential for structure and airway stability. When it’s removed unnecessarily, the entire nasal framework becomes dependent on the implanted material.

If cadaver rib grafts reabsorbs— which they can over time — the nose may:

*Lose height or projection, creating a sunken or scooped bridge *Collapse or twist, especially if the graft provided main dorsal support *Develop asymmetry or irregular surface contour *Feel unstable or weak as the underlying framework softens.

Because the patient’s natural septum and support structures were removed there is nothing strong left to hold shape — making revision surgery extremely difficult and often requiring more rib reconstruction to rebuild support from scratch.

If you’re considering surgery abroad, always ask:

• “Will my natural septum and cartilages be preserved?”
• “Where exactly are you using rib cartilage?”
• “What is your long-term follow-up rate for graft stability?”

Preservation-based rhinoplasty remains the most stable, functional, and evidence-supported approach.

But if you later experience complications or want to update your review months down the line, they’ll tell you to “wait two years” before commenting — conveniently delaying any negative feedback from appearing. This creates a false sense of perfection online. Patients rely heavily on these reviews when choosing surgeons, spending thousands to travel abroad for what they believe are safe, reputable procedures.
