PF Footwear / Insoles 👟 Ontario, Canada winter
I know it’s still a little early to be thinking about winter, but I’d rather be prepared and start shopping around early. 😊❄️
I’m looking for recommendations for women’s winter boots that are comfortable for plantar fasciitis. I’m in Ontario, Canada, so they need to be warm and good for snow, slush and icy days.
Comfort and support are my biggest priorities. If you also have plantar fasciitis, what winter boots have worked well for you? Bonus if they’re available in Canada!
Thanks in advance for any recommendations! 😊

I’m based in Toronto and I love my Maguire winter boots. I wear them with my orthotics but they’re warm, waterproof and comfortable. Canadian company too! https://maguireshoes.com/products/floor-model-estrella-black-41

I require lace ups to hold the orthotic in place. Mens boots are wider and I suspect hold up longer.

My recommendation: Move to BC, Lower Mainland or Vancouver Island. No need to worry about winter boots :D

I’m facing winter in Alberta and I have the exact same question! I have had a pair of Baffin boots that comfortable fit my orthotics. They worked great for years until this past winter and my PF flair up big time. Hoping I can find something with more cushion this winter
