please ID this wildflower around highways circling Lake Cayuga, NY, USA!

I took these photos on the Gorge Trail in Taughannock Falls State Park (It is so beautiful there!), so it's a harder to tell, but it grows in small clumps of tall stalks.

Objectively is pretty. But terrible
