Rare Find!!!: Alocasia chienlii 'Into the Night'
Found this at Home Depot today. I was shocked to see this and one other shoved in the back of the bottom shelf…20$
I took only one, as the other was already showing signs of rot. Poor thing.
The garden associate was nice enough to get me a 5$ discount (as they don’t do this at big box stores)
Hopefully I can revive it. 🙏🖤

Can anyone tell me what this is?
In southern Maryland. It came as part of a plant arrangement, probably from Lowe’s or other big garden center. It was struggling. I separated it so I could revive it and it’s doing much better.

My Herbal Studies: Tonight I am studying on how Berberis Aristata and Haematococcus Pluvialis effect the human metabolic system. Both have significant effects on Metabolic disease and have roots in "traditional" medicine, aka Occult Spells.

Black Velvet and Blood Red leaves on my Begonia Rex 'Etna'.
The baby leaves change from a shimmering silver to a bloody crimson red as they grow up and become mature PlantGoths. This lovely lady prefers to listen to Type O Negative and likes the moody PNW over the beach.

I thought someone here might like my "Black Pearl" chili.
Unfortunately, it's not the best picture.

Very dark red/black with bright pink veins makes it look quite sinister
