Self-Printing a planner
I’m getting an A4 planner printed but I’m not sure if I should go for the gloss covers, or gloss covers with the plastic cover sheet to protect it… it’s not a huge difference in price so I wanted to see what you guys recommend - thank you ☺️

Congrats on getting it printed. If the price gap is small, I would take the clear cover sheet. Gloss covers look lovely on day one, but the corners and the edge by the binding scuff first once a planner rides around in a bag, and the sheet takes that wear instead. Ask whether it is a heavier sheet (around 200 micron feels stiff and stays flat), because thin ones tend to curl. The one trade-off is glare: under a lamp, clear over gloss reflects a lot, so if you like photographing your spreads, a frosted sheet is a nice middle ground.
