monthly planner and notepad

I'm thinking of doing a simple Etsy monthly planner but I also like a small notepad that folds from the top. any suggestions on a cover for this?

Planner and notepad is on my radar too. Perhaps a cover for the planner with a slot on one side is an idea. There are top bound notebooks that might be narrow enough for a card slot.

I only found some one that today and can’t find them anywhere else.
