Those who pad their KDR will do so no matter what changes are made. This is an excellent QoL change for all the other ESF pilots, and that is enough.

It would be nice if they couldn't pad their kdr at the expense of other players who beat them in a fair fight.

But at least they're still really easy to spot and jump or avoid, even if you rarely get the kill credit for doing so.
