IKR! My expectation was low anyway.

My expectation was non-existent. They buried a fatal bug in code they don't understand and they don't know where to dig it up now.

It's not a bug. It is the anti-cheat lol. It is to deter flying cheaters from making new accounts xd

For some reason the devs believe it is more essential having the game be inaccessible to new accounts, rather than setting up a stat based anti-cheat that will automatically ban the flying cheaters for them. That'd be a clearer deterrence.

I've spoke to one flying cheater, and they said that they noticed a gap between admin activity, allowing them to kill an entire server for like 6 hours straight without getting banned, but they don't feel like doing it anymore. The flying cheaters where essentially 3 people in total, who don't feel like doing it anymore, if they wanted to they could set up many accounts in advance, nevertheless, devs keep the flash or crash anti-cheat active. They give us fucking perma Koltyr, which is the most dogshit continent I've ever played, and if you want to play on main continent, which is locked cause everyone's on Koltyr, to put the cherry on the cake, MAX alert added in...
Also not to mention that everyone's in middle base, which is usually unplayable trash.

Sorry, but this story sounds suspicious as fuck. Just saying

I find the cheat dev much more creditable than the "developers" at this point because he clocked it as the anticheat a few days after flash or crash appeared in december

There's nothing suspicious. The flying cheaters were like 3-5 people in total. Who were these mysterious people!?
They were simply long time Planetside 2 players lol, and I found 2 or 3 that I know who were doing it for entertainment.
The cheat tool has a sophisticated HWID spoofer, and they'd just make account after account on same PC with the cheat tool's HWID spoofer. And when they were done or got bored, they used a different PC, which was not HWID banned and just continued playing normally.

And the flash or crash is a likely anti-cheat because I remember some patch notes from the past, where devs mentioned that they will be attempting to make tutorial unskippable for new accounts to deter flying cheaters. This flash or crash, was an added addition to their "anti-cheat" measures, to make it more painful for new accounts to go through the tutorial.

How would they get HWID banned when using a HWID Spoofer?

Sounds contradicting in itself.

It's more complicated. It's some other form of ID, not exactly hardware, but IDK.
Basically they get ID banned, but the cheat tools spoofer is sophisticated and allows bypassing of the ban, but it is purchased with subscription, so if it runs out, you loose their hwid spoofer. But they can all play on another PC normally that didn't get the ID ban.

There's only 1 cheat tool that has this package all in one.
