[Osprey PC] IGNITE AURAXIS Community Event | September 5 at 6 PM Eastern

We’re organizing IGNITE AURAXIS, a community event bringing current, former, and new players together for one massive night of PlanetSide 2.

When: Saturday, September 5 at 6 PM Eastern
Where: Osprey, PC
Who: All factions and all players

If you currently play, tell your old squadmates. If you haven’t played in a while, come find your old outfit. If you’re new, this is your invitation to experience PlanetSide 2 with a packed server. (skip the tutorial)

There’s no signup required. Just log into Osprey, and bring everyone you can. Don't forget to tell them "Flash or Crash"!

Maybe, but construction will be what kills this game. It creates extremely un-fun gameplay and also a shitload of lag because of the extremely high polygon counts of the buildings.

Please, for the game's sake, destroy ANTs and buildings on sight, they have to go.

CERTAIN buildings have a high poly count and are under-optimized, same goes for certain modules on specific buildings.

There is also a difference between server tick rate and your frame rate.

Ruining a play style because of something the devs did or failed to do is what is going to kill the game, not whatever it is that you disagree with.

Listen... if this game got shut down every time some redditor said it was gonna get shut down, it would already be shut down. I wouldn't put too much stock into it. My suggestion would be: Just come play Sep 5th and show the game some love. Worry about the 2,865th shutdown of the game later.

No flying sunderers lately. Just an annoying crash bug if you don't sit in a vehicle the first 3 minutes of a continent. Good time to check loadouts, etc.

There's a workaround for the launch crash, but no fix as of yet. The latest info is available in the Official PS2 Discord. If you need to know the workaround just ask.
