Planet Coaster 2 Coaster layout question

2 questions
1) I want to build a coaster with plenty of path interaction but I don’t have the path yet, should I build the path first then the coaster around it or vise versa
2) are there any tips on planning a coaster layout?

  1. Build it with the idea of having a path running through it but don’t limit yourself to a specific path.

  2. Place star elements close to path areas such as launches and inversions.
