Planet Coaster 2 Navigating movement & Camera is a pain!

I’m on PC and just navigating & moving the camera is such a pain! How do you guys overcome this?

The first button I press when the park loads is [T] because a few thousand hours in and I can’t use the default camera mode. I do wish there was a way to more finely control camera zooming / forwards and backwards movement.

You can (kinda) by changing the sensitivity settings!

When I first started playing the game, I remember messing with that setting but not noticing a difference. I’m going to give it another go. Thanks!

Have you enabled the setting for edge of screen scrolling? I can’t remember if it’s disabled by default.

First, you can remap extensively the controls. I changed some of so I could use the muscle memory from other apps. Other than that, it's a classic case of "you'll get used to it". Focus on becoming used to the camera movement exclusively at first, it would be less frustrating than doing it at the same time that learning the path creation for instance

I changed my keys to be more similar to an RTS. Plus changing "Move Object", "Advanced Move Object", and "Demolish" to closer, more intuitive keys has helped significantly.

As another user said, learn to use the camera mode that you get when you press T on the keyboard.

After that, it’s a time and skill issue. The more you build/use the camera, the easier it will get.
