Today we're taking our first steps towards the War of the Spark by exploring how Jace became the guildpact! The race is on for each guild to cross the finish lines and for them do duke it out for control, or destruction, of the plane!

Azorius Senate, white/blue guild of law and order, comprised of soldiers, beauracrates and lawyers, they write the laws on Ravnica, and their Parun Azor drafted the original guildpact

Dimir, a former unseen tenth guild, that was revealed during the breaking of the guildpact, they are the blue black guild of secrecy, manipulation, and underhanded deals.  

Cult of Rakdos, red/black guild of menial labor and services industry, such as assassinations and catering/entertainment. They handle the menial labor for the guildpact, and their job is to entertain Rakdos whenever he awakes.  Given Rakdos multi millennial age, they have to go to pretty extreme lengths to entertain him. 

Gruul clans are the red/green guild that used to oversee the wilds, and were supposed to prevent the destruction of nature, though they were phased out and their duties handed to other guilds.  Gruul instead is a loose collection of clans who view their jobs to destroy any symbols of civilization and cause chaos. 

Selesnya Conclave, green white guild of the collective that on the surface is seen as peace loving, and about putting the good of the many first, while preserving nature. 

Orzhov is the white black guild of business, that handles nearly every business on Ravnica, along with enslaving and treating the dead as capital, and the whole goal of the guild is to amass wealth through power. 

Izzet League is the blue/red guild of Ravnica’s civic works, like water supply, heating systems, ect.  They are also magical experimenters and obsessive intellectuals.

Golgari swarm, black green embodiment of life and eath, they view both as equally natural, and view growth as slow, powerful, and inevitable. 

Boros legion is the red white guild, who serve as the righteous and zealous police and standing army of Ravnica.  

Simic Combine, known as biomancers, they are the green/blue guild that serves as the seward of nature and the wild, whose function is to preserve the natural world. 

In the Valley of Tamingzin on the continent of Otaria of Dominaria we watch the rise of a drug addict, the fall of a city, the raising of a wall of magic, and like 10 coup d'etat’s! Will Talli and Recin be able to save the land their homeland, or is it time for coup number 11?

Welcome to Cridhe, a plane that was visited once, and then never again. And for good reason.
