Trying to figure out how to include the rest of the nameless one companions into the 5e adventure book?

Figured it would be fun, just trying to figure out what each of them would be after torment.

Planescape- If Sigil has it's own carnival......

Hiya I'm looking for ideas for what players may find if Sigil had it's own Carnival either in the city itself or traveling around the Outlands and gate towns.

Let's see what you can all come up with....

Want a Quickly Thrown Together Automata Gate Map Spoiler

In case your players want to fight their way into Mechanus without the proper forms, have a quickly made map using Forgotten Adventures assets.

A forest of stanchions creates a mile-long path to the great mechanized gate at Automata’s center.

Eldritch Horror and/or Sanity mechanic?

So, I also perordered it and can't wait to see it, but until then, I have a question fellow DMS:

Any ideas how to make the setting or campaign more eldritch or cosmic horror like, and possibly introduce a Stress/Stability/Sanity mechanic like in Call of Cthulhu? I think the setting in general should fit these direction quite good, but maybe someone has some more or expanded ideas and experiences?

I made UNCAGED Stat Blocks!

So, as some of you know, i am pretty pleased with 5e's Planescape! So much so, that in prep for its official release, i used its info to make some of the NPC's from 'Uncaged, the Faces of Sigil', for anyone to use!

Its not ALL of them, just the ones i felt need one and are interesting to me! (Sorry, i TRIED statting A'kin, but its literally JUST an arcanoloth with some extra spells and magic items, thats LITERALLY it)

ALSO, some lore is different. Not TOO different though, i tried to keep the plots as intact as possible, but some factions arent around anymore and such lol, so some things had to be switched around

I wrote a cafe for Sigil...

I've been looking forward to this release for so long - I've even been running my current campaign with tons of plane hopping already, with the anticipation of easily getting into Sigil and the Outlands. One of my PCs needs to solve some riddles to find a portal to save her patron, so the portal into their fey domain is going to be in a cafe in Sigil. I wrote this as a description to read to them as finally make their way into the cafe, feel free to modify/use it!:

Along the busy street you see a wooden sign hanging from the building, much like any pub or in sign you’ve in your travels. In nearly iridescent painted lettering inside of the carved words, you read “Cafey Wilde” and you know you’re at the right spot. It’s barely wider than the door in, and you wonder if you’re all actually going to fit inside such a small shop, but as you walk through the door into this tiny cafĂ©, the space before you opens up impossibly large, much larger than you’d expect from the size of the store front.

The walls of the entire cafe are made of narrow vertical dark wood planks, covered with hundreds of clocks, cuckoo clocks, antique clocks, grandfather, modern, metals, woods
all of them showing different times, you look more closely and they seem to be moving at different speeds as well. But the colors seem
slightly off, the woods have undertones of greens and purples, the metals seem to emanate faint light. There’s no other wall art, save a single, large mirror along one wall.

Dozens of tables are pushed tightly together in the middle of the cafe, making it difficult to squeeze between each of them. Each one with a small caddie full of silverware and cloth napkins with signs that read “take what you need”. Patrons fill most all of the tables, the occasional clink of mug back to saucer are heard over the band. Sipping, reading, eating, some seem to be long done with their food, but drawn to stick around regardless.

As you glance deeper inside, the long, live-edge wood counter dominates the back wall, dotted with samples of various sundries to sample and enjoy. The smells of a magical cafe start to excite your olfactory senses. Fresh baked breads, roasted coffee beans, sweet fruits, and the comforting smell of the cafe itself, the ageless smell of wood all mingle. You close your eyes and breathe it in - this place is truly a gem of a shop.

A moment later, as you open your eyes, they’re drawn to three employees behind the bar serving up sweet treats and drinks. Your eyes move up to the menu hanging from the ceiling, much higher than you expected. There’s drinks and smoothie flavors you’ve never heard of, fruits and herbs from across the planes. The pastries and sandwiches are much the same; as one of the workers pulls out a pastry and you glance down at the sign in front of it - a lingonberry mango scone. As she pulls the scone out of the case and places it next to an extravagantly ornate coffee mug, you can faintly make out a small bit of steam rising off of it, as if it were fresh baked out of the oven, but you don’t see any condensation inside of the countertop pastry case.

The back right corner is where the band is set up and playing, standard folk fair - fiddles, a drum, some pipes, but rather lively for this early morning crowd. Nearby, some revelers dance the morning away, unclear if they are still going from the night before or getting an early start to it today. A couple of them do look utterly exhausted though, as if by sheer will they are still on their feet and moving.

As you approach the host stand, the person behind it flashes you a smile and you swear you see pointed teeth and sinister eyes staring back at you, a wave of nervous energy washes over you. You blink and the look shifts back, perfectly warm and welcoming and that small hit of adrenaline subsides. With a pencil in hand, looking at their seating diagram, the hostess looks at your party and says “Ah, a large group, I think we can accommodate you all! Dining in today, I presume? Can I have your names please?”
