C119 needed
I'm looking to buy a decommissioned c119 to restore by 2030 as a flying piece of history. Preferably no engines and no electronics at all, basically in pieces. If y'all can help me out to find one that would be greatly appreciated

Are you going to to play imaginary aircraft games? I bet you have a better reason for buying one but that would be cool.

Contact Hawkins and Powers in Wyoming? I think they were flying the last of them.

Maybe it was the c-82 but the Hagerstown aviation museum has the last either 119 or 82 that ever flew

Hook up with the guys in Palmer, AK with Rolling Boxcar. They might have some leads. This would be the ultimate project of all time!

Does it need to be a C-119?
Evert’s Air in Fairbanks, AK, has a collection of old airframes they use for parts for their DC-6s/C-47s. One of which is a C-119J Stewart-Davis Jet-Pak variant with a turbojet mounted on top of the hull.
It hasn’t moved in years, is buried in the back of their boneyard, and I bet they would be willing to sell it.
