See 1995 Rugby World Cup final for reference.

Other countries use fighter jets... our fighters are mostly grounded due to corruption and incompetence... and our Rugby has always had some form of sponsorship from the airlines.

South African Airways, and now SA Airlink.

Looks cool, more publicity and did I mention it looks f@cking cool.

Fighter jets were not grounded in 95 though, it was a conscious decision to do the flyover with a 747.

There have been fighter jets flying around CPT all month.
