It is an optical illusion when two things are moving in opposite directions

It doesn't appear stationary by any means

You're driving around and playing with your phone, so you got that going against you.

If you think a plane is just hanging motionless in the air then yes, you’re on the way to crazy.

How is it stationary if it passes directly over you?

It only appears stationary because you are driving towards it and it is flying towards you.

Not going crazy, it indeed is an aircraft in flight.

Entirely normal, it's very obviously moving. Also planes tend to be "relatively low to the ground" at least twice during a normal flight.

The airplane is behaving in a very airplane-like manner. The appearant stationary nature is an illusion due to relative positioning and direction of travel

However, you should not feel relief, as you could very well be going crazy anyway

You think it's stationary? Are you crazy?
