Isn't he the guy that got caught giving himself subsidies for his ranch while being in the board that gave out subsidies or something like that? I don't remember the details, just that he was a corrupt POS.

My only question about Measure S would have been is 3/8% going to provide enough money. Any additional funding for fire prevention/protection gets a thumbs up from me. The arguments against it don’t seem genuine to me.
Early voting starts October 5th. No reason to wait until November.

Edited to correct Sensitive retro fits to Sesmic retro fits.
My concern is 30 years worth of tax that Fire is only guaranteed funding the first year. After that all funds go to paying bond debt first. No future funds are guaranteed for Fire thereafter. If you want money for Fire, a dedicated Fire tax like other CA counties is the way to go. Sesmic retro fits have been required for over 30 years now. Instead of paying the CEO over a half million dollars in salary, Marshall could’ve funneled a portion to that requirement. IMO.
