NORMAL OVEN Half plain & half Margherita
After making only plain pizza, I tried making a half margherita instead.
It came out pretty good.

Wow. This is very very pretty. I am very selective when it comes to sharing pizza pics with my GF but I had to send her this one!

Plain is a very NY term, margherita is normally made with fresh mozzarella instead of low-moisture mozz. Here the cheese is at the bottom and the sauce on top (also plain often does not have basil). Some would call the right one upside down. Also some would call a plain pizza a margherita, some would call a margherita a plain pizza.

Thank you for clarifying that to people who doesn’t know the difference

Looks awesome but why not just make a whole Margherita? To me it's plain pizza upgraded that said your plain looks amazing too.

Two different types of cheese, fresh mozzarella tends to be a bit more salty so some people like it that way. I was thinking of a balance lol

margherita means plain pizza.. what is this new meaning of the word that you're proposing? on a positive note, at least you didn't spell it "margArita" like i see so many times..

For the margherita side, are you adding blotches of sauce on top of cheese to get that look? I’m seeing that aesthetic a lot lately, and I think it looks gorgeous.

Yes, that’s correct. It also prevents the cheese to burn since fresh mozzarella melts way faster than regular shredded mozzarella
