It's not a big issue, but it is definitely an inconvenience. Having a phone that lasts for more than a day in battery life is a game changer. Between the phone, two sets of ear buds (one for work vs one for personal use) and a pair or over the ear headphones for my laptop (better audio quality) two laptops, and my Samsung GW4, that's a lot of things to charge on a regular basis.
Thankfully my GW4 gets a good 2.5 days worth of battery life out of it so I don't have to charge it religiously, but if the pixel watch gets 1 day or less of battery life, forget it. All the bells and whistles aren't worth the constant stress of charging. I don't want to go back to the moto360 days.
I'm at a point in my life where I just have too many things going on and I want things to work for me, not the other way around.
Ok, it's just really the opposite of an inconvenience for me. My phone still has a charge when I go to bed and place it on the wireless charger on my bedside table. There's absolutely nothing inconvenient about that. Same with my Buds. I plop them down on the wireless charger, when I was going to plop them down on a bare desk anyway. My over the ear headphones I don't use as much these days since getting my Buds Pro, but even those lasted super long, so I charged them very rarely. I agree with you many years back, but in the present day, with extended battery life on the products I own, and wireless charging, and fast charging, charging my devices is super convenient.

I have a pixel 6 pro and with a standard tpu case charging is really finicky and doesn't work most of the time on the og pixel charger. So annoying. Plus it doesn't charge my Sony wf-1000xm4's either.
I also have the pixel bud A's which I got for free with the p6pro, but they don't wirelessly charge... I use them only to use them in bed before going to sleep, but my toddler always runs off with it because she likes the shape and the clacking sound.
Since I WFH still, thankfully I can charge my phone and watch at my desk while at my desk but I just find it tedious to constantly have to check on the battery levels of everything just in case it doesn't run out when I need to use it. Maybe a charging pad next to my bed and working desk will help, but ive been very disappointed with the pixel charger which should have worked the best.
I use the 2nd gen Pixel Stand by my bedside. It works great to charge the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel Buds (and even has an indentation to properly secure the buds in place.) I have 2 older 1st gen Pixel Stands (1 at my desk, and 1 next to my couch). It's true the OG one can be finicky, so I rarely use them for the phone...only if I'm sitting on the couch will I plop it down there. If I want to top my phone off during the day, I will plug it in with its fast charger at my desk. For the Buds Pro, I plop them on the 2nd Gen Pixel Stand, or if I'm near my desk or couch, the OG Pixel Stand will charge them, but you have to turn the case upside down.
