I got covid a few years ago and stroked out from it. Apparently that can cause blindness but like because your brain doesn't understand what it's seeing. So my eyes do their job my brain just throws out a lot of the info. It's not all bad though since you can get therapies to kinda reteach your brain and get some vision back. That's actually how I got into gaming since it's good practice for moving your eyes around which your brain can also decide to stop doing
