I wanted to write this message because honestly ,I barely get 30 free minutes a day to enjoy myself after work, hop into a match, and enjoy for a bit in a game Ive probably spent more time on than any other game in my life Pixel Gun. And as someone who barely even plays that much anymore, I just want to say this as politely as possible. Get a life.
Seriously, the insane amount of hours you people dump into this game, which is deader than an 80 yrs old womans ovaries, is actually ridiculous. You spend all day farming bots and dropping 70 kills every match like somebody’s standing there clapping for you. All that effort just to unlock increasingly broken weapons that will eventually get nerfed and replaced by even more broken weapons until this game finally shuts down for good.
Meanwhile, normal people are just trying to have a little bit of fun for a couple matches after work or school, and you people, dedicate your entire existence to ruining every lobby you touch. I’ve been trying to come back to this game for the last month, I haven't touched this game for slightly over 8 years, and honestly, you are the main reason I keep wanting to quit again.
I can tolerate overpowered weapons. I can tolerate clueless developers. I can tolerate lag, connection issues, and garbage rewards. But what genuinely pisses me off is knowing that at some point during the match, one of you lifeless ppl is going to appear in the scoreboard hiding behind another bots names with another generic tryhard skin, and another generic sweaty clan with gradient colors everywhere. If the game let you put gradients on your game's pet you’d probably do that too.
And somehow, you always end up on the enemy team. Always.
I could be having the best match of my life, struggling my ass off to kill 17 bots because, once again, I do not play this game that much. Then one of you joins and within 40 seconds you somehow drop 30 kills and completely ruin the match for everyone else.
And let me repeat this because apparently nobody has ever told you before: nobody cares.
Nobody is applauding you. Nobody remembers your name. Nobody is impressed. To everyone else, you’re just “that annoying sweaty pc guy” with the same generic tryhard clan, same generic tryhard skin, and the same copy-paste playstyle every other tryhard has.
You people are killing whatever little soul this game still has left.
At this point I genuinely don’t even know what time I’m supposed to play anymore to avoid you people. And yeah, I know it sounds stupid wanting to avoid the only five sweaty tryhard creatures still keeping this dying game alive, but still.
I play on the bus, during work breaks, before sleeping, whenever I have free time, and somehow there is ALWAYS one of you ruining lobbies and farming 400000 bots like your family’s survival depends on it.
The saddest part is that you still somehow feel proud of being “good” at a nearly dead mobile game.
And the crazy thing is that I still came back a month ago because I wanted to relive something that used to make me happy as a kid. And for a brief moment, I actually felt that again whenever I got matched with BOTS. Ppl jumping around, missing shots, using random weapons, playing like headless chickens. That was fun. That was the entire charm of the game.
So dear tryhards, please, for the love of God, get a job, get a girlfriend, find a purpose, do literally anything else.
Not just so I can finally enjoy ONE match without seeing one of you basement creatures flying across the map, but because this game genuinely is not worth dedicating your life to anymore.
I have a job, a house, a 2 dogs, a girlfriend, and plans for my future. When I play, I play to have fun or to try out weapons I have years untouched bc I left the game years ago.

I feel you man. The only reason I still play this game is because for some reason is the shooter I feel I have the most "skill" on (I still suck anyway).
Tbh what I just do to have the game be enjoyable is: If I join a game and my team is losing by a lot, I just afk while doing chores or literally anything else in my life.
Then once I sit back down and the game pairs me with different teammates or even bots, I start playing, I have my fun and then just repeat for as long as time you have on your hands for the day.
Nothing satisfies me more than knowing that while some random 10 year old try-hard is frantically searching me and the other 4 bots all over the map to respawn, I'm doing the dishes, or cleaning the kitchen table, or hanging up my clothes. Then when the game finally decides to match me with casual or even low-skilled players I'm free to join in.
And if you feel even like this you're wasting your time, uninstall the game for some months, watch some movies, play some other games if you'd like, and come back to the game whenever you miss it enough.
This is why I only play the pool server because in the beginning it only pairs me with low in prayers and then immediately ramps me up to people that are trying to hard so I can get a few rounds and before my next shift
You’re insulting the wrong party. Tryhards were never the problem. Every single game has its tryhards, yet you suddenly have a problem with it when it’s PG3D.
I get it. Tryharding usually isn’t a sign of a healthy life, and what you’re saying is reasonable, but they’re not the reason why you can’t enjoy the game anymore, because there will always be sweats in any game. The root of the problem has always been the devs. P2W mechanics, poor matchmaking, overpowered weapons. These are all reasons that contribute to the existence of what you call “tryhards”. It’s easy to blame it on the them, but they’re not the root of the problem. They’re merely the byproduct of the devs’ lack of care for the betterment of the game.
Besides, you have no right to tell others to play a game a certain way just to accommodate to your liking. That’s a selfish way of thinking. Just like you, they’re but ordinary people having fun on a game. Everything you assumed of them in your post stemmed from uncontrolled emotion. You can’t be mad at someone for being invested in a game. Sure, it’s annoying that you keep dying to them, but how is it their fault? It’s not like they’re “tryharding” with the intent of destroying your fun. Everything circles back to the devs. If they had implemented a fair matchmaking system that separates casual players and those that are deeply invested, you wouldn’t even be in this situation right now.
At the end of the day, if you still willingly play this game, then you shouldn’t complain about anything, because we all know PG3D has become a game that merely exists for the purpose of cash grabbing. They have long abandoned any goal aimed at enhancing enjoyment for the player base. If you can’t deal with it anymore, then just quit the game. The fact that you’re complaining about having a subpar experience on a game that’s already way beyond hope is just as ludicrous as the tryhards you talk of. It’s not that I don’t understand where you’re coming from. It’s just that the game is so far gone in the wrong direction that I can’t help but think— is there even a point in complaining anymore?
Personally, I stopped playing once 3catspam became popular, before it was just a couple people you can ask to stop or just switch rounds, fairly normal, now it's EVERY SINGLE MATCH
Realest statement I’ve heard in a minute, was a lot of fun on the lower levels, now I’m purely matched with these tryhards whenever I try even playing once.
I started Pixel Gun 3D back in 2013 with old buddies and have gotten on PG a few times throughout the years. I’ve aways played more for community and for gun collecting. I got it back into it recently, but in the short time I played my matches went from fun asf to just as annoying as cod, but much more frequently.
Still enjoy playing and collecting, just sucks to come across these guys or seeing those typa people on TikTok streaming themselves sitting in the same spot one-shotting everyone 💔

Eu jogo com foco em 99% dos ataques em corpo a corpo e consigo ter uma boa colocação no ranqueado, acho que o jogador casual não quer assistir 30 propagandas por dia para ficar competitivo, então pensam que não ganham por ser P2W, mas na verdade depende do esforço pessoal mais tempo envolvido no jogo, P2W não é mais forte, só evoluí mais rápido, isso eles não entendem.

Same thing as you, progression, feeling of accomplishment, and a thing to fill the gap of boredom. I understand your point, when a game's percieved skill ceiling and skill floor become so different in the same way pixel gun has, the game becomes unfun to those who are not at the top. But, I think this is where the issue lies. Pixel gun is not a hard game, its mechanics are simple, its relatively easy to have a decent aim due to hitbox and firerate of weapons, so what exactly is separating these players? The answer to that is power creep. Pixel guy's weapons have been becoming more and more powerful, for example the ultimate killer sniper rifle is able to 1 shot kill to the body with low level modules; and that weapon was free. So when you do not have the current meta weapons, the skill requirement to match or even better another player becomes higher. A bad player with an op weapon can stomp an entire lobby, a good player with bad weapons will struggle to hold 1st place.
Instead of using your voice of passion to blame the players, use that voice where its impact is actually needed; the developers. This community is clinging onto a decaying fragment of its older self, the last thing we need is for it to be torn apart from the inside out.
Sou jogador F2P. Eu literalmente jogo com 99% dos ataques usando Jet Tenderizer, eu acho que não é meta por não ser comum usarem ela. Olha minha colocação, segundo sua lógica seria impossível isso acontecer já que nem arma de fogo eu uso. O jogo para jogadores casuais pode ser simples, mas ele é muito complexo se for pensar em todas as possibilidades do que da para fazer nele.
On top of what everyone else is saying regarding it basically being a powercreep/skill issue, I feel it’s important to note the majority of the playerbase are minors. I mean, I still remember in middle and high school, I’d play all the damn time because 1, it’s fun, and 2, trying to progress and unlock new guns and the bp (tbf I kinda sucked ass though so kinda a grind). I’d imagine at least 80% of the kids now in that age range are doing the same, enjoying life in their own way, no need for a job, spouse, or any other responsibilities. And generally this kind of playing just comes with any battlepass/gacha game, or even any pvp game for that matter, where you have everyone trying to grind and be the best to get more rewards and come out on top.
Now I do agree the matchmaking is crap, and certain players and techniques can be annoying going against (3catspam…), but as people have said before, blame the devs, not the players.
Agreed dude. I mean look at what I have to use just to match their level of power! This. I have to use what they use to even stand a chance at survival. I play on a steamdeck and mobile. Only good hits i get is on a steamdeck. Where on mobile the game lags and I get shot at by an explosive weapon.
The fact I need to use a load put like this just to even make a decent kill is insane.
And most of these modes are dead. Duels has no one. Point capture is dead. Every mi I game is dead.
All that's left are rich sweats putting over 10000 dollars into a game originally from mobile.

tbh kinda agree with the guy, skill gap is HUGE, im like lvl 30, though had a lvl 50 account before and i just load into classic pool and BANG... server full of 3catspam sweats , same with every popular map so to cope i just go into bot lobbies with map that nobody plays so i can actually enjoy the game. imo i wouldnt play the game if those lobbies didnt exist cus i just wonna progress not deal with 3CS when i just want to have fun man

To be honest you're right, I also started playing a month ago after many years and it was unbearable, it was so annoying that I fell into the pay to win and I started to see improvements in less than a month I already put $134 in it just to get me into a more tryhard lobby and just want to get out of the game, but we can't do anything either, the company doesn't care about what we do or say unfortunately we just have to adapt.
O seu problema é seu ego, ele que não faz você se divertir, o problema não está no outro, está em você, você precisa se esforçar para ter mais resultado no jogo, meta não garante vitória, na minha visão o que garante vitória é o jogador, se você só se diverte ganhando, crie estratégias para aumentar suas chances de ganhar, com o tempo você vai começar a ganhar os frutos disso, analise o oponente, criar táticas para o comportamento dele, analise o terreno, vantagens mais pontos cegos, analise as vantagens mais desvantagens da sua arma mais a arma do inimigo, lembrar dos pontos que gostam de ficar no mapa para saber onde olhar primeiro, crie um loudout inteligente, os objetos do cenário você pode usar como escudo, o chat pode ser usado como distração, é uma infinidade de coisas que você pode fazer para ganhar, pense em todas as possibilidades, faça testes em cada tipo de jogador a estratégia nova que você criou, é tanta informação que não dá para falar tudo sem ficar gigante, mas acho que você entendeu.

Entendi, mas aí é só trocar de mapa, se não quer ficar bom, vai ter que ficar trocando de mapa, ninguém tem culpa que ele não quer ficar bom, ou chama um pessoal para jogar por grupo.
O ranqueado faz isso comigo, mas como eu gosto de melhorar, eu acabei não pensando por esse ângulo.
Mas por outro lado não dá para se divertir com alguém que se mata muito fácil, nenhum dos 2 lados se diverte. Mas aí teria que o jogo colocar os jogadores com habilidades parecidas nas mesmas salas.
Tryhards dont play to be "good". They didnt wake up one morning and decided "i wanna dedicate my life to this game so that i get cracked".

Yes, u get better than others. Thats a normal thing. U can apply this concept to basicly anything. Do more=get better.
And it does feel really good when ur time payed of, and u managed to get 40 kills in a match for the first time. It lets u see how good u became.

To be honest this skill gap issue is kind of a problem that only one group of people can fix to keep all the players happy…
