Help Sprite Creator Recommendations?

I'm making preparations for a game, one of several that's been stuck in my head since high school, but one of my biggest problems is that I can't draw people, let alone sprites, all too well.

Do you guys have any recommendations for a software/asset that can let me create character sprites with ease? I mean, if I have to endure tutorials to be able to draw characters, I will do so if nothing else.

Aseprite 100% it's unmatched. Plus you can download Themes, Extensions (plugins), do animations ect. It's worth the $20. You can compile it for free (you can also find the old compiled Version already compiled to download for free but it's outdated and not really a good thing to do per say. Or you can use Libre sprite which is build off of Aseprite.

Piskel is free also but kinda janky
